 Richard A. Conn, Jr. is a founding partner of Agents for Critical Thinking and the author of The Earthbound Parent: How (and Why) to Raise Your Little Angels Without Religion

Richard is Managing Partner of Eurasia Advisors and Innovate Partners, and serves on the International Advisory Council of the International Crisis Group as well as an Independent Trustee of a publicly traded mutual fund.

Richard practiced international corporate law for nearly twenty years as an equity partner with the international law firm Latham & Watkins. He founded the firm’s Moscow office in 1992 and served as a key advisor to the Presidential Administration of Russian President Boris Yeltsin, as President of the Moscow based Foreign Bar Association and on the Board of Directors of the U.S.-Russia Business Council.

 Richard delivered the key note address at the United Nations to open the U.N. conference addressing the establishment of a world-wide Sovereign Debt Restructuring framework. He frequently publishes on these subjects and authored “Towards a Sovereign Debt Restructuring Framework: Less is More”, that appears in Joe Stiglitz’s book Too Little, Too Late: The Quest of Resolving Sovereign Debt Crises, Columbia University Press, New York, 2016. Richard ran in 2010 for the Deputy Presidency of the World Chess Federation on an international ticket headed by the Twelfth World Champion Anatoly Karpov with the support of the Thirteenth World Champion Garry Kasparov and is an avid chess player. 

Leland Faust is a founding partner of Agents for Critical Thinking, a financial expert, professional speaker,  author and a highly experienced investment advisor and fund manager. He founded CSl Capital Management and served as chief investment officer for 33 years. Supervising over $1.5 billion in assets and representing over 100 NFL. MLB and NBA all stars and Grammy and Academy award winners.

A firsthand observer of Wall Street misbehavior for more than 40 years. Faust wrote his new book, A Capitalist’s Lament: How Wall Street is Fleecing You and Ruining America (Skyhorse Publishing. October 2016), to promote reform for America’s most powerful financial institutions and help everyday investors avoid getting duped by these prominent con artists.

Leland is an honors graduate from the University of California, Berkeley, (Economics) and Harvard Law School. He began his career as a tax attorney and later became certified as a tax specialist by the California State Board of Legal Specialization. He founded CSl Capital Management in 1978, where he managed portfolios for high—net—worth individuals and organizations. successfully growing their assets and protecting them against substantial loss and unexpected market crashes. until the firm was sold to SunTrust Bank in 2011. 

 From 1997 to 2010, Leland was the senior portfolio manager of the publicly traded CSl Equity Fund, which The Wall Street Journal and USA Today recognized as a top—performing equity fund.
